Staff

Our staff is a team of caring, helpful professionals whose primary responsibility is to ensure that your visits are pleasant and comfortable. They are available to assist you in any way possible or to answer your questions.

Consultation

A comprehensive oral evaluation at our office consists of a thorough examination of your mouth, including a tooth, jaw, and periodontal (gum) examination, a head & neck cancer examination, X-ray survey, and blood pressure screening. We will also review your medical history with you.

Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:

* Any current X-rays, if applicable
* A list of current medications

If you have dental insurance, please bring a completed claim form. This will save time and allow us to help you process any claims. Please advise us if you have any history of a heart murmur, artificial heart valves, congenital heart defect, or have taken an antibiotic pre-medication prior to your dental visits.

IMPORTANT: All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the initial visit.

X-Rays

If your previous dentist has taken x-rays within the past year, you may request that they forward them to our office. If there is not enough time for us to receive them in time for your appointment, please pick them up and bring them to our office. If additional films are necessary, they can be taken at our facility.

We try our best to stay on schedule to minimize your waiting. Due to the fact that we provide many types of dental services, various circumstances may lengthen the time allocated for a procedure. Emergency situations may occasionally cause delays. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

Please call 717-354-3200 with any questions or to schedule an appointment.

Payment Options

A variety of payment options are available for your convenience. We are committed to providing excellent dental care and to guide patients in choosing the best payment options for their individual needs. We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Care Credit and Dental Fee Plan.

Dental Insurance

Dental insurance is a contract between your employer and an insurance company. Benefits are based upon the terms of the contract negotiated between these two parties.

The goal of most dental insurance policies is to provide basic care for specific dental services. Benefits that you receive from the dental insurance company are unrelated to your particular dental needs or what is most important to your overall dental health.

Since your plan is determined by your employer and the insurance company, some necessary services may be excluded. Our office will do everything possible to help you understand and maximize your dental insurance benefits. As a courtesy, our office will complete and submit your insurance forms to achieve the maximum reimbursement to which you are entitled. Please remember that you are ultimately responsible for all expenses incurred. We urge you to read your insurance policy, so that you are fully aware of the coverage and any limitations of the benefits provided.

In case of an Emergency

We hope that you will never experience a dental emergency, but if you do, we want you to know that we are available.

During office hours, if you are having pain or experience an emergency – such as bleeding, swelling, or trauma – please call us immediately so that we may schedule you as soon as we can. We will do everything possible to treat your problem promptly and attend to your needs.

If an emergency occurs after hours, we can be reached 24 hours a day. We can be reached by dialing our pager number at 400-0149. After hearing a series of beeps, punch in your telephone number, followed by the # sign. You may then hang up. Please note that it takes several minutes for us to receive your page.

Incidentally, you will be happy to know that due to the thoroughness of our comprehensive treatments, our patients experience very few emergencies.
